GPI - LT1 Cam (Gen 5)

SS1: Works well with the stock torque converter, offers stable idle, excellent low end torque, and smooth lobe design for quiet valve train operation and longevity. We designed this cam for use in cars with minimal modifications. Idles stable around 675 RPM, and is very strong off idle to 6800 RPM. Works well with 3000 + Converters.
SS2: Tailored for the street / strip individual that runs a 3000+ RPM converter. It rivals the torque output of the SS1 but packs on about 10-15 additional horsepower up top. Strong to 7000 RPM. Converter recommended 3000 minimum, 4000 plus for max performance.
SS3: This is our most popular street / race cam, and for good reason. This is the perfect cam for the hardcore street / strip enthusiast, and makes more torque and horsepower than our SS1 and SS2 cams. Very strong to 6900 RPM. Track tested, developed, and proven! This cam requires 3600+ RPM Converter.
SS4: All out performance application. Very street able, requires 4000 plus converter. Track tested and developed 10 second cam with heads and supporting mods. Strong to 7200 rpm.
12.5:1 compression minimum, ideally 13:1. Will require flycutting for adequate piston to valve clearance.
LT NFC: Our LT NFC requires no flycutting when milling the OEM heads .040″ and running a .040″ gasket which puts you around 13:1 compression! The increased compression is required with this camshaft! Works with Holley Hi-Ram Manifold, Holley MSD Manifold, and the GM LT2 Manifold!
This cam, with our ported OEM heads, milled .040″, .040″ gaskets, and a Hi Ram Manifold, in a 6th Gen Camaro weighing about 3600lbs went 9.90s in the 1/4, and made over 590 RWHP!
Track Attack: All out performance application. Very street able, requires 4500 plus converter. Track tested and developed 9 second cam with heads and supporting mods. Strong to 7600rpm with correct valvetrain setup and High Ram manifold.

Track Attack Hi-Ram: 14:1 minimum compression. Ideally 14.5:-15:1. E85 or Race Gas only. Must be used with High Ram style intakes. Peak power in the upper 7000s. All out SBE or Stock Displacement NA cam. 5000+ converter required. Best used with our CID Track Attack LT heads. This Camshaft has been 9.0 @ 147 and made over 650 RWHP on SBE LT1!!
